Our Pastor.
Hi, I'm Kevin Bradford, and I want to personally welcome you to Greater Bakersfield's First Pentecostal Church.
We've been serving the Bakersfield community since 1943, and it's an honor to have you visit our website today. Whether someone invited you, you're new to the area, or you're simply exploring faith, we're so glad you're here.
Our church is made up of people from every walk of life who have found hope, purpose, and community through Jesus Christ and His Word. We love worshiping together, growing in Scripture, and building genuine relationships that extend far beyond a Sunday service.
As you explore our website, I hope you'll get a glimpse of who we are. But even more than that, I hope you'll come experience a service for yourself.
Around here, we have a saying: “Be My VIP.” We want every guest to know they're a Very Important Person, and from the moment you arrive, our prayer is that you'll feel welcomed, valued, and right at home.

Our Leadership
Kevin Bradford and his family have served Greater Bakersfield's First Pentecostal Church full-time since 1992, and as pastor since October 2010. He holds a degree in Business Administration from CSUB and a master's in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Bishop Leon Frost has served First Pentecostal Church for most of his life. Known for his anointed teaching, preaching, stature, and leadership, he guided GBFPC through over 30 years of growth and ministry. His legacy continues to shape the church today.
