Rev. Leon Frost, Pastor
Pastor Leon Frost has served First Pentecostal Church for most of his life. His first sermon was preached at age twelve. Before becoming Pastor, he worked under our founder, Rev. I.H. Terry in many ministry capacities, as well as administrative duties. He departed FPC in 1977 to take the pastoral duties in Avondale, Arizona. He returned in 1983 to assume to pastorate of GBFPC. The church has been fortunate to be guided by his 24 and continuing years of leadership. He is known for his stature, business acumen, and leadership. However, those elements of ministry are secondary to his anointed teaching, preaching, and “being” Pastor.
Rev. Kevin Bradford, Youth Pastor/Administrative Assistant
Kevin Bradford and his family, Sharamy, Peyton and Paisley, have served GBFPC full-time in many capacities over the last 13 years.
Kevin received his undergraduate studies in Business Administration from California State University Bakersfield and his master's degree in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary-Pasadena, Ca. He also has served the Western District UPCI as District Youth President, District Youth Secretary and Bible Quiz Coordinator over the past eight years. He notes that “GBFPC has a rich heritage and we're appreciative of being able to serve God with such wonderful people who have a wonderful vision – a church focused on following, proclaiming, and celebrating truth.”
Rev. Kenny Condren, Associate Pastor
Kenny Condren has attended GBFPC since his birth in 1961. He was filled him with the Holy Ghost in 1977 at Bethel Academy's annual snow trip. Kenny has been involved in ministry since the 1980's. He was the pastor of a local outreach church in Lamont, CA and the pastor of a home mission’s church in Ukiah, CA. He was brought onto the GBFPC pastoral staff after his return to Bakersfield.

Kenny said that he has had a number of high moments while preaching but the most memorable was when Pastor Frost and Bro. Bradford were summoned away from an evening service and Pastor turned to him and said, "I need you to preach tonight." Kenny said as he walked to the pulpit unsure what to preach, he felt the strength of God direct him and give him scriptures and understanding. "I gained a confidence in preaching that night that I didn't have before," he said.

He and his wife, Cheri, have been married for 27 years. They are the parents of C.J. and Kendra Casey and Chad and Tiffany Condren. They also have two grandchildren. He is currently continuing his education at Bakersfield College and is enrolled in an assortment of classes. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, family and friends and he collects antique pocketknives.
