FEATURED STORY
Hinojosa family able to watch daughter's graduation

Photo by Casey Christie/The Bakersfield Californian
Gilbert Hinojosa was able to watch his daughter, Ariana, graduate from Bakersfield High School on Thursday evening courtesy of Hoffmann Hospice. Gilbert suffered a stroke more than a year ago and his condition has since deteriorated. He has lost nearly 80 pounds since suffering from the stroke and is currently under the care of Hoffmann Hospice. The transport van pulled onto the BHS track and parked near the end zone. Gilbert was able to watch all of the graduates walk across the stage. Gilbert, his wife Rosa and his daughter Ariana are longtime members of GBFPC.
